Co-VP - Yangpu District, Shanghai, China
Bing Wei, Neighbors Abroad's founding co-VP for Yangpu District, Shanghai, is an experienced executive focusing on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), as well as business and governmental affairs between the United States and China. She enjoys developing company visions and strategies and has more than 20 years of experience as a cross-border US-China corporate marketer working with C-level executives within global organizations (Cisco in San Jose/China and Dow Jones in Hong Kong/Asia Pacific) with a focus of technology enablement. Her core CSR work within Cisco and the Bay Area Council has developed her unique methodologies to chart CSR missions to align with the organization’s growth trajectory and realize its purpose with ESG measurements with a global footprint.

Her own ventures, including serving as the CEO of an educational startup and running her own cross-border GR/PR/impact investing consulting firm, have honed her leadership skills and interest in furthering ties of international engagement.

Bing, a native of Shanghai, served on the inaugural China Trade Mission under California Governor Jerry Brown in 2013, which secured over $2 billion in new investments for California. Among other awards and accolades, Bing was selected as a Presidential Leadership Scholar and was named the Immigrant Leader of the Month in June 2021 by the Bush Foundation. She is active in the Stop Asian Hate movement. She is a published author, and a frequent public speaker on the US-China relationship, as well as CSR and cross-border marketing.
