In the wake of Russia’s shocking invasion of Ukraine, Neighbors Abroad moved quickly into action, partnering on a fund-raising campaign with Kleine Herzen (Little Hearts), which has operations in our German Sister City, Heidelberg. The non-profit already has an excellent track record for helping vulnerable children in Ukraine since 2007.
Your tax-deductible donations are going directly to helping children who were marginalized even before this catastrophic invasion. This blog on the Kleine Herzen website offers an overview of the critical aid that is being provided with donations from our community (select English option). The page also includes a BBC video about the monumental work on behalf of orphans being spearheaded by Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for Children's Rights, Mykola Kuleba. We are supporting his life-saving work through Kleine Herzen. Please donate using the web form below for a credit card donation, or beneath the form learn of donation via check or managed funds. |
