Neighbors Abroad partners with a number of nonprofits, businesses, and government entities to enhance connections with our Sister Cities.
Vidas y Sueños
Vidas y Sueños is one of Neighbors Abroad's closest partners. The Mexico-registered non-profit helps underprivileged communities in Mexico, including in and around our Sister City, Oaxaca, through its broad array of programs designed to improve the health and well being of families and communities. Vidas y Sueños focuses on initiatives to improve nutrition, health, and education, including by providing access to potable water, promoting clean- and low-cost energy, and furthering housing, hygiene, and sustainable practices. Vidas y Sueños also works to enhance local production systems to improve people's social and economic situation. We have worked in close partnership with this dynamic non-profit on our Yaxe Rainwater Capture Project. To learn more about Vidas y Sueños, click here. |
