The BEAM (Business, Entrepreneurship, and Math) Program is a partnership between high schools and companies that replicates real-life business environments for students, which require application of mathematical principles. Students from sister cities in Germany, Mexico, Netherlands, and Sweden collaborate through sharing, analyzing, and providing recommendations on their start-ups and projects for companies. BEAM has become an international social network of business education and business opportunities, as well as a vehicle for worldwide collaboration between students, teachers, cities, and businesses around the world. BEAM has been featured in numerous press articles, including The Huffington Post and Palo Alto Pulse, and has been named one of the best international practices in education by the Nuffic report in the Netherlands.
TaleTree is a community of creative and kind kids. TaleTree provides a safe online environment for kids (5-12 years old) where they can find like-minded peers sharing their interests, creations, and inspiration. The positive sharing experience helps kids appreciate their own feelings and ideas as well as those of others and build confidence and social, emotional skills. Partnering with Neighbors Abroad, TaleTree has been able to introduce the platform to some children/families in the Philippines. These kids are now our weekly Creative Camp members and have become friends sharing their beautiful creative projects with other camp members from the US and Korea. TaleTree would love to have more kids around the world join the community and have each child shine through their creative minds and kind hearts. No matter where your children live, they will find their creative soulmates through TaleTree.
