Ellen Valentine

Treasurer Emerita          Non-Voting Member
Ellen is originally from Caloocan City, a suburb in the northern part of Metro Manila, Philippines. She immigrated with her family in 1972 to Port Washington, a town on Long Island, New York. She attended State University of New York at Stony Brook, graduating with a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature. 

​While in college, she studied abroad in Madrid, Spain for two semesters.  She lived in New York, New Jersey, and Arizona before moving to the Bay Area in 2001.  She has a son and extended family living in the Bay Area.  She speaks English, Spanish, Tagalog and Waray (a dialect in Eastern Visayas). 
Ellen has over 30 years work experience providing administrative support in the finance, insurance, and environmental engineering industries.
