Tacos for Oaxaca

Monday April 9, 2018 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM
A wonderful street party for Oaxaca, Mexico! Buy your tickets below.

This event raises money to support the children and the firefighters of Oaxaca. We will be sending off a recently donated fire vehicle to Oaxaca.  Expect street dancers and mariachi as well as remarks from our Mayor.   Above, Oaxacan firefighters proudly stand with a Palo Alto donated vehicle.

Oaxaca, Mexico is Palo Alto's sister city. Oaxaca is a colonial capital of Mexico deep in her highlands known for her foods, mezcal and culture.  Neighbors Abroad has supported Oaxaca for 50 years.

The event will be in front of Tacolicious at 436 Emerson, Palo Alto. The back room is reserved where your donation can be redeemed.  The donation entitles you to food and beverage.  We ask that you do not carry alcoholic beverages into the street. You are welcome to join without a donation for the street festivities!

Neighbors Abroad appreciates the support of the City of Palo Alto, Chamber of Commerce, Tacolicious, Kiwanis of Palo Alto, Mariachi Cardenal de Stanford, and Raicés de Mexico Folkloric Dance Group.  We honor our local firefighters. Funds raised will support Oaxaca's children, those that live in orphanages and those impacted by recent earthquakes. Download the event flyer!
