Yudy Deng

Yudy Deng is a dedicated community leader passionate about fostering international connections and cultural exchange. As Vice President of Yangpu for Neighbors Abroad, she brings valuable firsthand experience, having worked in Shanghai’s Yangpu District before moving to the U.S. Her deep ties to both communities make her uniquely positioned to strengthen the sister-city relationship between Palo Alto and Yangpu.

Beyond her role with Neighbors Abroad, Yudy serves on the Palo Alto Parks and Recreation Commission, where she helps shape the city’s recreational and open-space policies. She is also a board member of the Society of Heart’s Delight, an organization celebrating the diverse cultures of Silicon Valley. As PTA President at Ohlone Elementary School, she leads initiatives that foster a strong school-community environment and support student enrichment programs.

With her extensive experience in community engagement, public service, and international relations, Yudy is committed to building meaningful partnerships that enhance cultural understanding and collaboration between Palo Alto and its global counterparts.
